Enzo assembles his first rocking horse (with a little help from Daddy and Gabe)

So, we thought tonight was going to be a normal Monday night: supper, a little play time, baths, books, then bed... After a delicious dinner (thank you, Nana!), Fernando decided to take a few things up to the attic. "Hey, what about this rocking horse?" he said as he passed the box down to me. Enzo immediately sat down on the box (followed by Gabriel), and we knew he was ready -finally!- to take a ride on his first REAL rocking horse.

Daddy cut open the box, and the fun began!

First, we gotta read the instructions!

Now, let's get out all the pieces!

Enzo found the box of screws...

...then Gabriel discovered it, too!

Might need a little help from the instructions...

Time for a little wrestling match!

(Daddy's still working hard...)

Then, finally... The rocking horse is ready to ride!

Wait, don't forget the handle!

Wow! I can't wait to ride...

Yee-haw!

OK, enough fun for one night!

What a fun night! Sometimes a "normal" Monday turns into a memory that will last a lifetime.
